What You’ll Experience

Strategic IP Consultancy

Assist in patent drafting, claim strategy, and legal argumentation across diverse technical domains.

Innovation Partnership Design

Support scenario-based workshops, stakeholder engagement, and university–industry collaboration models.

Operational Excellence

Contribute to SOP development, workflow optimisation, and compliance management for institutional clients.

Legal and Procedural Support

Help prepare client correspondence, affidavits, and submissions for IP filings, applications, oppositions, licensing, and regulatory filings.

Workshop and Training Coordination

Assist in designing facilitator guides, participant materials, and post-session documentation for national-level seminars.

Research and Strategic Framing

Conduct background research on patentability, valorisation strategies, and regional innovation policies.

Professional Development

Receive mentorship from certified IP practitioners and participate in national-level training modules.

Who Should Apply

Eligibility Criteria

  • From accredited local higher learning institutions
  • Where internship is a mandatory part of course completion
  • In disciplines relevant to Patentsworth’s business needs

Requirements

  • Diploma, degree, or equivalent qualification
  • Fresh graduates with a strong interest in IP, innovation, or consultancy
  • Analytical and detail-conscious mindset
  • Independent, self-motivated, organised, and results-oriented
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Good command of both Bahasa Melayu and English

Internship Details

  • Duration: 8–12 weeks (flexible based on academic calendar)
  • Location: Patentsworth International, House of PW, Bandar Sunway, Selangor, Malaysia
  • Mode: In-office
  • Stipend: Provided
  • Application Period: Open throughout the year, subject to placement availability
